Who We Are
Lifelink Memphis is a non-denominational, independent Christian church located in the Cooper-Young neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee.
We are a family of people who are actively pursuing God; devoted to one another and committed to our surrounding community and the world at large.
We are linked internationally with other Lifelink churches who share our kingdom beliefs and commitment to the message and mission of Jesus Christ.
We have a rich history, a vibrant present community of Christian believers, and a future of impacting service to God and our community. We are excited to be joined together with others in the great adventure of Christian life and we welcome others to join with us in seeing God establish His kingdom in our lives and in our world.
Connect+Cultivate+Co-Mission:
As a local church congregation, we express our ministry and missional lifestyle in three words: connect, cultivate, and co-mission. It's all about knowing Him and making Him known. Because we have a foundational belief that the Christian life is built upon relationships and ministry itself flows from the relational nature of God and humankind, we begin with connection.
Connecting: knowing Him
We are called to glorify God and enjoy relationship with our creator. We know his son Jesus from the scriptures and enjoy a revelatory relationship with God the Holy Spirit, who leads us into fellowship with Himself and with one another as people. As a community of believers we are committed to a life of worship, prayer, mutual accountability, and biblical study so that we are actively engaged together in our pursuit of deeper relationship with God and the people around us.
Cultivating: enjoying Him
Jesus is committed to the reconciliation of people to God the Father, and He has chosen to empower believers to partner with Him in the transformational process of becoming more like Himself. As we grow in intimacy with Him, we will experience times of pruning and times of harvest; times of breaking up the soil and times of rapid growth; all for the purpose of His glorification. As a local congregation, our activities should cultivate this growth together.
Co-Missioning: making Him known
We as believers are not only called, we are also sent out as a part of the body of all believers. As we live from a place of cultivated intimacy with Jesus, He directs our paths for the purpose of expanding His kingdom on the earth. We highly value our partnerships in the body of Christ and are committed to sharing provision and resource as we see His kingdom established. Co-missioning with ministries that arise from the local congregation is a natural outworking of living missionally as a church body.
