Acts 9:32-11:18 Gentiles receive the Gospel

This week Joey talks about the process of the Gentiles receiving the Gospel through Peter. God using the everyday things to speak to Peter about his spiritual pride and racism. Luke tells the story of Peter doing great miracles, almost exactly like Jesus, which serve to show his authority in the huge shift that was about to happen in the church as God, through Peter, opens up the way of faith to the Gentiles. Joey also encourages the church to look outside itself and seek to be a blessing. By not having a Lifelink service for a sunday we will go to other churches and pray with/for them and see what God is doing.
