Ken brings a message about a Father for Father's Day. He uses the story of Paul and Lydia to show God's providence as we show up and listen to the Spirit of Jesus. We have a Father who will protect, encourage, develop, love, and provide for us. We can listen and obey but it is always up to God to produce the fruit of changed lives.
This week Ken Steorts speaks about the last moments Jesus spent with His disciples before his crucifixion. At the last supper, Just before he left to betray him Judas asked Jesus a question? "Why are you showing yourselves to us and not the world?" Jesus' answer to this question became a great revelation of his life on earth and his ultimate death and resurrection. It lays out his heart for the Father, for His present and future disciples, and for the whole world.
Today Ken talks about the seemingly foolish message and plan of the cross. It will always be foolish to the people who know it all, and it will never be enough for the people who crave experience. But still it remains as our wise God's only plan, the very power of God. Once we were powerless, foolish, and poor and now...... well, were basically the same only know we know it and thusly depend on God for all strength, wisdom and riches. This puts us in the unique position to give away the goodness that we have been lavishly given by our loving Father.
Thats right...Ken is going to reveal everything you have ever wanted to know about the end times. Better hurry up and listen.
